Directions from outside the front of King's Cross and St Pancras stations:

When you reach a slight bend in the road, cross at the pedestrian lights to reach the bottom of King's Boulevard which is a pedestrian-only street. Walk about 270 metres up to the end of King's Boulevard to reach Goods Way. Cross at the pedestrian crossing and go over the bridge to reach Granary Square.

Granary Square opened in June 2012 and is a large paved space in front of Central Saint Martins, the famous college which relocated here in 2011. The square includes an expanse of 1080 electronically-controlled fountains which are popular with children in hot weather. Events held in the summer of 2012 include a one-day music festival sponsored by Eurostar and a children's literary festival.
