Directions from outside the front of King's Cross and St Pancras stations:

Turn left into Euston Road and pass in front of King's Cross station. Cross York Way (to outside McDonald's) and go along Pentonville Road for about 100 metres and turn left into Caledonian Road. The Thornhill Arms is about 470 metres up on the right.

With its bare wooden tables and blackboard wine list, The Thornhill Arms looks as if it might have become a gastropub, but it's still very much a community local. The outside has attractive original tiles and signage, while inside the large single room is dominated by the central bar. Cheap pub food is available and the pub gets busy when there's football on, especially if it involves Arsenal.
